| Patent Number: | DE2150158 | | Publication Date: | 1975-07-24 | | Application Date: | 1971-10-07 | | | Abstract: | | | The trap is placed into a sink outlet, is readily pulled out after the removal of the closing plug, and replaced after cleaning. The tubular upper end has at its upper part a circumferential groove for a sealing ring. The underside of this sealing groove flange rests on the cylindrical collar of the lower housing. The central cylindrical immersed tube of the upper part reaches into the lower cylinder. The upper and lower cylinder are connected by a bayonet lock consisting of pins in the upper part and the slots in the wall of the upper cylinder. The sealing surfaces are automatically cleaned when the assembly is pulled out of its seat. The trap can be used in domestic equipment such as sinks and baths. |
